Vaal University of Technology Technology Station for Materials Processing and Technologies
The Brief
To design a portable pocket sized braai utensil. It had to include a fork, knife, tongs, brush and a cork screw. The materials selected needed to be food grade materials and should be durable enough to use in outside environments.
My Role
I was the project lead and with the role I managed the concepts, development, prototyping and manufacturing of the most viable product for the project. This also included sourcing for material and manufacturing suppliers, testing of prototypes, liaising with the stakeholders and creating and managing the project budget.
